And it is. Very blustery.
Basically, I've shoveled (I mean swept) about 3 lbs. of sand out from in front of the Center.
Speaking of Winnie the Pooh...
He accepted all his friends in the 100 acre wood, no matter their size, shape or, for that matter species. Really, they found out they were more alike than different.
And, so are we-more alike than different that is.
So, as you go about your weekend, whether you celebrate Easter, Passover or some other holiday-let's remember how alike we really are. We all want to be happy, prosperous, healthy...we want all to be heard, be validated, feel liked and be loved.
Because, whether your 6 or 60, short or tall, thin or not-so-thin...at heart, we all want the same things.
And sometimes we lose sight of just how alike we are and we forget to respect each other or forget to listen to each other. I know sometimes I forget and I am really working on that. I think it's really important.
So, let's recognize our sameness the next time we're all together. We're all just trying to 'make it' in the world and we can certainly do it more easily together, working as a team.
And, frankly, I'm glad you're all on our team!
