A Blessed Life

Sunny, kind of cold but we're getting there...
A Blessed life...that is what we have for sure.
This weekend was our Awards meeting and while PMS and some little things weren't helping for a glittering mood, it was a good time. (For instance, could there just have been turkey on the cold cut platter? Please? I can't stomach 3 italian salami's, I just can't. But, the thought was there and we did appreciate the food!) Overall, we are totally blessed.
Really, we never intended things to go this well. We figured, oh, we'd have some classes (started here with 11 and now have 30) and some instructors (started with me, K and L and now have 10 total!) and some students (we have over 5000 people in our box).
I think we all have moments when we just can't see anything good-and we forget how good we really have it. That was definitely me this weekend.
Because, in reality, my BIL is in a coma in FLA and may die. And, here I am feeling good and running a successful business and, really, having a damn good life. And J is in FLA praying by J's bedside. I really have ZERO to complain about. And, I do know it's ok to complain sometimes but it's NOT ok to forget just how good you really have it.
So, I'm letting go of wishing there was turkey (or at least roast beef) on that table yesterday and anything other stupid little things from the meeting (like some people who just CANNOT be happy for their peers, because their too damn jealous!)and I'm hanging on to knowing that:
1. I am a lucky, lucky girl
2. I have a bunch of people around me who support what we do wholeheartedly
3. And I'm doing just what God Himself intended for me
So, thanks to our BEYOND fabulous staff of instructors, class managers and babysitters and all of our customers who, once again, put us at the TOP of our District for year #10...we are forever greatful!
