Rude

Hi Everyone,
We hope you had a great weekend. (Excluding last night's Pat's game-which we are NOT discussing...)
I heard something on the radio today about the rudeness level in our daily lives and I agree it's way too high.
Here are some things that bug the snot out of me:
-If someone holds a door open for me in a store or something I say, "Thank You". Do you? If I hold the door for someone and they blantantly walk by me saying nothing or not even making eye contact I say (loudly), "You're welcome". Just say thank you-why wouldn't you? I mean seriously.
-If you pull out in front of someone in traffic and do not make eye contact it does NOT mean they don't exist. Just so you know. I try not to pull out in front of people because it causes accidents!
-If I have to take a call on my celly in public I try and call the person right back or keep the convo short. By the way, I do not want to hear your entire fight with your man while you're in Home Goods shopping. And, when you yell in public WE CAN HEAR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-We've never made a rule about turning off your celly at the Center but, could you unless you're on call for work? Thanks.
-And just because you're older than 60 does NOT entitle you to:
1. cut in front of me at the deli or register at the store
2. pull out in front of me as if you do not see me
3. stand with your cart blocking an entire aisle at CVS and then pretend you can't hear me when I say 'Excuse me' to try and get by you
4. Litter
5. Pull out a coin purse full of change and start counting out $5 for a purchase when there are thousands of people in line and I can SEE the $5 bill in your wallet! Jeez, have one of your kids teach you how to use the Coinstar machine for God's sake.
And, my advice to you if cell phones are new to your generation-DO NOT TALK AND DRIVE AT THE SAME TIME.
Let's all try and remember that there are other people in the world (other than ourselves) and let's see some consideration people. It takes 28 days to change a habit so if we all work together we can make the world a LESS rude place.
Thanks!
