In Memory

Hi All,
One year ago today Ally went to heaven.
We think about her every day and she is actively in our lives with Lilly. We have a lovely photo of her in the living room with her collar on it and her ashes in a beautiful urn too. We talk about her all the time and Lilly actually does know 'Sissy' and when we say, "Let's go say HI to Sissy" she goes right the collar and hits it with her nose. We did not train her to do this-the first time she did we were flabbergasted and I think we both cried.
We keep a gate up to keep her out of the living room most of the time and she will sometimes go to the gate and bark. If I ask her, "Do you want to say HI to Sissy?" and open the gate, she goes right there to the collar. It's really phenomenal and something that gives us a lot of peace. We always feel like Ally is with us every day.

Letting go of someone you love is so hard but we know it was the right thing for her. She is at peace and happy and healthy. We believe she is in heaven, playing and running around with her two Grandpas-Vince and Bob.

So, on this one year date...
Momma and Daddy love you Ally! (Lilly too!)
