Tuesday Tidbits!
On Tuesdays, we'll chat about the best snacks, some recipes and little ways to stay on track! (And what to do when you fall off track!)
Today...
Some of the best snacks under 100 calories!
-Of course...the famous '100 calorie packs' (available at BJ's Wholesale club in a variety box!)
-Jello fat free pudding snacks (these can be yummy thrown in your lunch bag or after dinner!)
-1 c. strawberries with cool whip (I actually make a 'trifle' dessert using fat free cool whip, strawberries and low fat pound cake in the summer and it rocks!)
-1 apple (you could dip this in caramel dip for a sweet lowfat treat!)
-Breyer's Double Churn 100 calorie cups! (we love a snack that is already portioned!)
-100 calorie Fudgesicles! (WHAT?? AWESOME)
-Chocolate Vitatops and VitaBrownies!
-Quaker chocolately drizzle mini delights
These are just a few ideas because snacking, let's face it, is an American tradition! And, remember, the body is like a furnace...to keep that metabolism going you must 'stoke' the fire and eating small meals, throughout the day, works for many people. Just be careful...low fat does NOT mean low calorie and keeping that food journal will help you eat healthfully throughout the day and not too much!

Well I definitely need to catch up with my posting. I am loving the Tuesday Tidbits. I will be back weekly for each suggestion. Right now I would be happy to be able to swallow something...ok I can have some pudding IF I had pudding...Maybe tomorrow!!!
