Hi All,
We missed seeing you all yesterday while we were at our District meeting. It was at the fabulous Biltmore in Providence and our DM did a GREAT job. The food was yummy and there was plenty of water and wonderful desserts.
We have some GREAT upcoming promotional items including a Mother's Day take on our 12 Days of Fitness...you'll get a SO CUTE coin purse with 12 classes to give someone for Mother's Day! Really, it's adorable so your Mother's Day shopping is done! (We'll let you know when you can start purchasing these...)
For Summer, we'll have a TEAM attendance game where all you do is ATTEND CLASS (easy) and you and your teammate can win some (again) SO CUTE flip flops in a cute carry bag.
So, here's your job this week:
1. Decide to whom you want to give the Mother's day gift
2. Find a teammate for our Summer game (start looking around class to see who comes ALL THE TIME)
Remember, ALL items are while supplies last so once you see we've got them...GET THEM!
Ok, onto today's topic...
As stated we had our meeting yesterday and I'm always intrigued about what people will wear. Some folks dress as if they are going to 'da club' any minute and, frankly, that is NOT business casual people. If I can see your belly at a business meeting it's time to visit Stacey and Clinton (What Not to Wear). Uh, leg warmers do NOT go on your arms...and FYI we don't wear leg warmers at the big J.
And, stop being so insecure...you're not here to impress anyone just dress nicely, flatter your figure and stop strutting around like it's a fashion show. We are J instructors...we live in workout wear so I do understand wanting to dress up but please.
Yesterday was about celebrating our success from last year, learning something to help us be more successful this year and thanking the most FABULOUS associates on the planet:
Liz, Lyn, Patti, Maripat, Jessica, Jill, Kristen, Kara, Tammy and Tina.
That was my focus. (Oh and if you're wondering, I wore dark jeans, ballet flats, a navy/khaki polka dotted blouse and a chocolate brown cord blazer...I didn't embarrass you do not worry!)
Thank you to all of YOU as well for coming to class, bringing your smiles, referring your friends and supporting our business these last almost 16 years...without you we'd be working a desk job and not loving what we do!
A favorite saying is...
Success is a journey, not a destination. Thank you for making our journey so special...and here's to at least 16 more years of our journey.
