Does the sun s*ck fat off your body?

Yeah...no, it does not.
This is our mantra every year-"Just because you are outside does *not* mean you're working out." Now, you know we're going to 'give it to you straight'...
Yes, we know you are 'out in the yard' and 'playing with the kids' and while those things are AWESOME and you should do them, daily, you still cannot skip your workouts! You need to get your heart rate up, in your zone, at least 20 minutes per day and at least 3x per week (if not 5x). This will keep your cardiovascularly fit as well as keep that muscle! (Which, remember, you start losing after age 25!)
In New England, we know how hard it is to *not* be outside when the weather is nice. After all, we're stuck inside most of the winter (if not all) and we want to GET OUT once we can! We totally support that and understand but, you'll notice K and A are teaching and getting in our own workouts beside that all summer long! And, we've got the A/C on so you'll be cool and comfortable and happy working out with us!
So many people come to us, in the Fall, and say "I don't understand why I'm not fit anymore." Well, it's because you've not been in class since MAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fitness is not a finite thing. In other words, you don't workout for a time and then...you're done. You're never 'done'. Working out every week is crucial to longevity and living the life you want to live every day. We all want to be there for our kids, grand kids and just to enjoy our entire lives. We want to be able to *do* all the fun things in life-vacations, activities...whatever you enjoy!
And, on top of all that, we all want to indulge in the bbq foods, ice cream, seafood and all those yummy things Summertime brings. Getting in your workouts allows you to indulge a bit without seeing it on your body and feeling it inside.
So, here's to a summer filled with fun, great food AND fitness!
